So I want to get a tattoo of lyrics from a Spill Canvas song. I'm not sure which one yet just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or would like to share any Spill Canvas tattoos that they may have.

I forgot to mention that if anyone is in the Penn State Main Campus area, TSC will be playing at around 9:30 tonight in front of the HUB. It's late, but it's also cool. They get to play for about an hour and a half.

Check it out here

Hello again! As you know, tomorrow is 111 day at 111 records! They've decided to go into the TSC vault and post a video of Nick's first photo shoot, snippets of 'The Tide' demo (with different lyrics!) and a few live snippets. They've also got old photos of Nick (and one with the full band)! Yay!

Extra Ticket [25 Nov 2008|11:44pm]

megami284

I have an extra ticket to the Spill Canvas show with OneRepublic at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC Nov 26. My friend cancelled on me the last minute and I'm trying to get rid of it. The concert starts at 7 PM but I'll be there early because of
Livenation Fastlane which allows me to skip the lines...awesome right. So if you want tht ticket reply to this.

The Hammerstein Ballroom is located at 311 W.34th Street.

Thanks,
-Rose

Do any of you happen to have the live version of Polygraph, Right Now that you get when you pre-order the vinyl? I really, really love the live version of that song but I don't have a record player and buying the vinyl will be pointless. It'd be greatly appreciated!

SUNY Canton Show [06 Sep 2008|05:16am]

[ mood | happy ]

I went to the suny canton show tonight and naturally it was amazing. i wish i could say the same for the opening act, c'est la vie.
did anyone else go? i still can't get over that they came to canton. for those of you who don't know canton is a small town in northern ny, near canada. the area itself is completely random. there are 4 universities within a 11 mile radius of each other (two in canton and two in potsdam) and the rest of the area = fields and fields of cows and amish.

security mostly hid during the first act and then unfortunately randomly appeared/stood in front of me for most of TSC. They also managed to block the majority of my shots in some way or another.

i lucked out hardcore. before the concert even began i was able to budge myself to the front/center. it was beyond perfect. it was mildly awkward because the majority of the people around me were still in high school....15..16...maybe even younger. i felt pretty old. the last time i went to a spill canvas concert was in 2004, i was 18 but it was a completely different crowd. a lot of these kids were the "mtv-kids"...back in my day it was the "indie-music-most-of-your-friends/society-have-never-heard-of-and-we-like-that kids"
their sound has changed considerably, and though the first album is still my favorite and i miss the acoustic terribly i think it's really good that they're breaking through. it was really cool to see the amount of people that came out and spill put on a really good show.

TSC Fanclub Coupon Code [03 Sep 2008|08:59pm]

thatzeppogirl
Hey guys! I joined TSC Fanclub through their site in March and recieved the $20 coupon code in my e-mail at the time. I didn't use the coupon immediately because I wasn't sure what I wanted to get, so I decided to wait a while. Eventually I went back to my e-mail to look for the code, and I realized I had deleted the e-mail by accident. I've been trying to browse the site and figure out a way to contact the webmaster or someone that could help me retrieve the code, but I can't seem to find anything aside from the publicity e-mail and the individual band member e-mails, and that doesn't help much. If anybody is willing to share the code or just an e-mail that I could use to contact someone in charge of the site, or something to that extent, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks.  =)

Went to the show in Boston today. It ended up being a super small acoustic set. There weren't a ton of people in the audience, but the vast majority, minus about 10 people, had no idea who they were. I was a little disappointed in the 5 songs that they had chosen to perform. It was also a little disheartening to see about 3/4 of the crowd that was there rush over to the table that was set up for the band to sign autographs and take pictures. I don't know, I guess I'm just a little bitter. I wish The Spill Canvas could stay as a little, undiscovered band forever. I don't get excited or happy at all when I find out that they continue to get bigger and bigger, especially since it's due to All Over You, which is probably their least impressive song to date.

Anyway, the setlist today was:
Lust A Prima Vista
Battles
Saved
Polygraph Right Now
All Over You

They played really well, as always, but it was very strange to see them not as into performing as I've always seen.
